An hour ahead of ourselves, are we, Sister Jacques?
Oh yes, I know I posted recently and I don't generally post often, but I have had such a crazy week that it needs to be placed in my blog. So, yea, anyway, on with it I suppose!
So, I was apparently a crazy man this Monday because I had a job interview for Adult Learning Systems. It is a housing unit for mentally ill adults. There isn't any men working there, but the interview went well and a I have high hopes. They said they'd call me on Tuesday, but maybe they meant next Tuesday? Anyway, they fired somebody while I was outside the office, it was pretty intense. But then they came outside afterward and was like "How's it going?" I was all like "Fantastic!"
That same Monday I had some summer orientation job meeting to go to. I thought it was at 7pm. Right before I ate at 6pm, I found out it was at 9pm. So, I came back from eating happy about the extra hour I had to spare. Well, It seemed like it was time to go over to the orientation so I left and went to the correct room. Everyone in the room was staring at me very oddly while I was searching for a seat so I turned around and found out this was a class. I said "Isn't this room 140 for the job orientation thing?" The prof said "It's at 9." That's when I turned and looked at a clock and realized it was only 8pm. So, rather embarrassed, I left. So, I was so busy that day that I ended up an hour ahead of myself. Wow, huh?
I made a new film for my digital cinema class using the song Module 2 by Restless Arising. I shortened it a little in Acid, and it is finished. I really like it a lot and want to submit it to a film festival or something. Like, a real film festival. I got the idea when Chris said "Make a film with a nun that drives her car into the pond." I thought it was too big budget for me, but then I began to think about someone praying about something, and wah-la!, you've got Frederica Jacques (A.K.A. - The Murky Nun). It's really rather good and many people die in it. So check check check it out.
Anyway, the Tuesday filming was nuts and frantic and what should have taken 2 hours took 6 and I was up until 3am the night of the filming. Boy was it ever so frustrating! But no one except Cathy and Mark know how frustrated I may have been, cause they were actually there. But yea, I also spent 8 hours editing the motherfucker. But, enough with that, on to better news?
I am going to make a DVD of my films tonight I think. Until then, stay posted, anyone got anymore pseudonyms for me? It is a requirement that you post one with your comment from now until I settle on one! OK, laters.
