Super Sexy Films are the Cure for the Common Cold
So, it's been a while I guess. Perhaps that is an understatement, but my life isn't all about updating my blog anyway, so, whatever. Well, a lot has happened since my last entry so I might as well get on with it.
Scantily Clad Lads finally has drums and for the most part it has been nice, but I feel like shit every time we practice and I don't know why. Well, I really just feel tired all the time. I guess it seems like we are getting somewhere sometimes though, so that is nice.
I found what my new love is, and it's Elfen Lied. Who knew that an anima based on the idea of a naked chick killing lots of people would turn out so damn good? I cried during like 4 of the 13 episodes. What the shit man? It's heavey stuff.
In other news, me and some other people on campus have been working on a humorous news show that finally got aired last Wednesday at 8pm. We filmed again on Saturday but apparently the sound didn't get recorded at all. How wonderful! Besides that problem, some drama seems to be arising from the director, Kevin, as he seems to be upset about stuff. I wrote him an angry e-mail telling him why he is being stupid. I also told the founder of the show that if any sort of drama continues I am probably going to stop helping with it.
I am working on my second film for Digital Cinema class that is due in four days. The idea I have is that some guy in his dorm room gets awoken by his next door neighbors having sex and he starts hitting the wall with a bat and in the end mutes them with a stereo remote or something. That will be fun. oh yea, funny thing, we viewed all the first class films which were 30-second voice-overs, and mine was the only one that didn't get seen. I am a little upset, but it is my fault for leaving the tape at the wrong part. Oops. Might I just say that some of the people in the class are trying to make decent pieces of work while some of the students are trying to suck ass. I think there was one project turned in that didn't even fucking use final cut and someone in the class said they liked it ! WTF mate!? Some people have no god damned brains.
I have also been working on some music ideas lately and I even tossed an idea to Nick over the instant messenger and he is going to mess with it. Maybe that means I might end up having something cool that I helped with, who knows?
So yea, I am having really tired days lately and I feel sick pretty much a lot of the time. Maybe I have a cold or some bull shitto? I don't know, but if it would clear up and my days were more refreshing or something than maybe I wouldn't feel so damned depressed lately. But, what can I do? I've been drinking lately. That is probably not good either. I don't really know why I do it. I mean, I guess I partially know why. Social influence surely has most to do with it and most the time I just say "fuck my day" I guess. I don't know, I think I should stop. I mean, I haven't really drank for a long time before this semester started. People that hang around drinkers tend to drink I guess. Fuck it.
And of course, who could forget about Remedial Broomball? We went all the way to the championship game undefeated and then we were beat twice in a row to come in second to a bunch of "Super Fucking Ultimate Choad Masters to the Max". I guess that sucks. But I seem to be failing at just about everything lately anyway. Couldn't get the job I got interviewed for, couldn't show my film in class, can't film any stories for the news show, can't find a place in Marquette to live this summer, and whatever else.
Oh yea, spring break is coming up and I am probably going home then. That will be fun I suppose. I don't know, I have to show Emily the Elfen Lied. She would like it a lot I am sure. She likes the emotional animes that are fucked up and cool as hell.

~I haven't been feeling band practice lately either...I dunno why for sure, I think alot is I need to practice more during the week so I can just jam during actual practice, but there has been no f-ing time lately.
