Release the Dead Blood Cells!

Alright everyone, I know you've dying to hear from me, so I have decided to blog something. Whatever that means! Anyway, I am doing quite today and I haven't studied or nothing. I'll tell you how life has been by giving you those juicy tidbits you love oh so much.

OK, so I fasted for 48 hours. It was fucking awesome man. It all seemed so easy until the last 4 hours. I swear to God my stomach had the jaws of death and it was eating away at other organs. OK, if you get grossed out easy, skip to the next paragraph. Anyhow, I was pooping liquid rather often in the last part of the second day of fasting. Yea, I thought it was stomach acid or something, but today Val informed me that we poop out dead blood cells. The plot thickens. Anyway, I must be stupid since I didn't know such things previously. I guess it might be stupid but I think I'll fast every month.

I was recording this song today because Scantily Clad Lads didn't really technically practice this weekend, which sucks, but I decided to record one of our songs so that the weekend didn't seem completely unproductive for us. I am not done with it yet, but I will finish by the end of this week and then I will make everyone listen to it!

I am currently in the process of trying to discover great new bands so that I can be once again excited about listening to music. I have been listening to Cat Power, and The Shins seem kind of cool, and I wonder if Bright Eyes makes a lot of good music. Maybe I could listen to Air or Aeroc, I don't know. i just need some new music to keep me happy.

So, Val and I have been looking for a house to start renting over this summer and during the next school year and I think we found the place that we want. But, of course, we haven't seen everything, but this place is good. We filled out applications for it and hopefully we will know sooner rather than later if we can take it. It is really new looking on the inside and has a basement where we can store our band shit, which is important. It also has a nice new fridge, oven, and dishwasher. Thank God for the dishwasher. And a garbage disposal! I have one of those at my family's house! Brings me back home it does. But, I have had to sort of face the sad reality that I probably won't be able to afford a cat. And I wanted one oh so bad! Oh well, shit happens. It would cost me $25 extra a month and then some for food and shit and I can't deal with that. Val likes the place too, so that is good.

Oh, so I applied for two jobs this weekend and I have one other application to fill out. I applied at a drive-thru coffee station and I hope I get that one or at least get interviewed. Everyone cross their fingers for me! Maybe I'll be lucky, cause I need a god damn job.

Oh, by the way, does anyone have any music-writing tips? I really wish I was better at writing music, but I'm really not that great though. America! Fuck yea! Sorry, I just watched Team America, that movie has some funny music. Anyway, going home in less than a week, that should be a good time or something. Give me either a chance to relax and sleep in or a chance to catch up on Social Psychology. Anyway, speak to ya all next time here on the only blog that is worth reading (besides Nick Gunzburg's).

yay, my blog is an exeption!
if you want to write good music, open notepad, and to stream off thought writing for the lyrics. another great method is to take a shower and start singing random things really loudly untill something cool happends. both combined is discouraged for safty reasons.
