Strong as a Tree
So yeah, Andrew is here for a few days in the good old house. It is nice, he is mostly quiet and is more popular in this town than me. He goes places, sees people. I do none of this. I sit in my house, read, watch anime, and play DDR. Yup, what a life, eh?
I went to the Casino today because apparently they are hiring. As I was handed the job application the lady said "Don't be intimidated by it." Holy shit, it is the biggest application I have ever seen. It is like 25 pages. I don't understand, but whatever. I needs my money. So, I need to fill it out. It's funny that I am going to try and work in a casino and today was the first time I have ever been in one in my life. Maybe I can run the roulette table. "And the winner is the black 5. Chips in, thank you lasies and gentlemen." Yeah, I would be pretty damn suave.
Anyway, my other job is going well. i read my homework there and I actually slept for 2 and a half hours yesterday while on the clock. Way to go me! But, seriously, this is the easiest and lowest paying job I have ever had. The people I work with are mad crazy.
I've been listening to a lot of anime soundtracks lately and, let me tell you, Serial Experiments Lain is a damn good soundtrack. Fucking yeah. I have also been watching a new anime lately since I finished Inuyasha this past weekend. Haibane Renmei. I am on episode 5, but it isn't too deep yet. Really slow and mellow. Meaningless so far but I can teel the plot will be thickening. I'll let everyone know how that goes.
I finished a book by Kurt Vonegut last week called "Welcome to the Monkey House". It is full of short stories and it is really good. All of the stories except the first one rock (if you ask me). Go pick it up sometime, you'll get hooked after a few of the shorts. I also read a book (which is apparently an inspiration for a song I wrote even though the song came first) called "Miss Pickerell Goes to Mars". Forevermore!! It is going to be a techno track and the only word will be "Forevermore". Yeah, I finished that children's book up today. It was short and fast. So now I need to pick up some Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Tom Robbins.
I was playing DDR today and dancing to a song called "Do it all Night" by E-Rotic. Anyway, somewhere in there it says :Do it all night, give it to me right, give it to me, strong as a tree." The last line made me start cracking up while dancing. I have decided to write a song dedicated to that song and call it "Strong as a Tree". The song, which I'm sure you can concieve from it's title, will be about sex.
Anyway, that's all I've got for now. And, oh yeah, ask Colton about his crazy Burger King incident. What choad masters those Burger King workers must be! I'm out to do the things I do. Later everyone.

yay DDR! now i want to play it! i mats and the game on PC at Victorias house.
that would be strange, but yet eerily fitting if you worked at a casino. i can do quite a few card tricks, i bet you didnt know. anime is tasty! and you should read HHGTTG!

casino, I could totally see you doing that...it's far away though, and I dunno if they would let you run games as a beginner. You would prolly cash in chips or something lame. But still...and yeah, Miss Pickerell Goes to Mars wooooooooooo hoooooooooooo
